Pokemon Dream Radar and Pokedex 3D Pro coming to both the North American and European eshop this fall

Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe have both issued a press release announcing that two brand new downloadable Pokemon titles will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS eshop this fall. These titles, previously announced for Japan on the latest Nintendo Direct Conference, are Pokemon Dream Radar and Pokedex 3D Pro.

Pokémon Dream Radar lets players use several different features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the Nintendo 3DS camera, motion control and augmented-reality technology, to catch Pokémon by moving the Nintendo 3DS to discover hidden Pokémon. Pokédex 3D Pro is a fully enhanced and upgraded version of the original Pokédex 3D application. It includes detailed information about the more than 600 Pokémon featured in the history of the Pokémon video game series.

New Nintendo 3DS minor firmware update now available

A new update is now available for Nintendo 3DS owners. The firmware has been upgraded from 4.0.0-7 to 4.1.0-8. The update is a quick and easy installation, taking just around 10 seconds to install. At first glance, it doesn’t appear to be too significant. One apparent small change is that a system update can be applied without having to enter a pin if parental controls are enabled.

Rayman Origins 3DS demo now available on the European eshop

A brand new demo is now available on the EUROPEAN eshop. It’s a demo for Rayman Origins 3DS; a game that already proved to be an awesome-looking games in other consoles and wants to do the same on the Nintendo 3DS. Make sure you download it check it out.

There’s still no word on whether this demo will make it to the North American eshop; but if something arises, we’ll keep you posted.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance demo to be released in North America

Kingdom Hearts director, Mr. Tetsuya Nomura has announced in the latest issue of Famitsu that a demo for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance which is currently available in Japan, called Sora scenario Traverse Town demo, is coming to the North American Nintendo 3DS eShop. Hopefully, Square Enix will announce a date for the demo in the next few weeks.

Nintendo to cease production of Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS in Japan

Nintendo has revealed via its official Japanese website that it plans to discontinue manufacturing the original Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS console. On the Nintendo 3DS hardware page the color is listed as “scheduled to end production shortly”. No reason has been given regarding the decision.

Inmediately after this annoucement was posted on Nintendo’s Japanese website, people started wondering if this decision was going to be effective worldwide. So, both Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe were asked if they would cease production of the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS and their answer for both cases was: “We have nothing to announce about the Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS in our territory at this time”.

Nintendo 3DS outsells Nintendo DS in its first 14 months in the market

The Nintendo 3DS keeps making history and outselling every console that crosses its path. Today, it has been revealed that the Nintendo 3DS has outsold the Nintendo DS by about 1 million units in their respective first 14 months in the market.

Now all Nintendo has to do is to keep up the momentum of the console by releasing great first-party titles and also third-party titles. Hopefully, we’ll get some sweet announcements on Nintendo’s E3 2012 Conference.
