Nintendo 3DS sales go through the roof in Japan, top three games are on the 3DS
If you were wondering how Nintendo 3DS is performing in Japan at the moment, let me tell you the console is performing incredibly well, with sales going through the rough. The console sold this week 350,321 units, in comparison to the 205,962 units sold last week; which represents an increase of more than 50% (almost 150,000 units) on last week’s sales.
Also, the software on the 3DS is performing incredibly, because the top three games in Japan are on the 3DS (Monster Hunter Tri G, Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land, respectively) in the category for all the consoles, which indicates that right now Nintendo 3DS is dominating the market.
