Ex Troopers announced for Nintendo 3DS

In the latest Famitsu issue, Ex Troopers, a shooting game has been revealed. The game is being developed by Capcom, and so far is only confirmed for the Japanese audience and is also in development for the PlayStation 3.

Details on the game are scarce, but according to Famitsu, the game features an anime-esque artstyle. The story is school centric. The game shares the same world view as Lost Planet. The project involves Shintaro Kojima, who is best known for his contributions to the Monster Hunter series as a producer. The game utilises a “manga demo” event system between stages. Chance of Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version being released on eShop

Yep, you read it right. It’s a slim chance. Reika Morishita, the composer behind the Rockman DASH theme songs has revealed that if her latest album (which will be packed full of Mega Man songs) reaches at least 20,000 sales, then there’s a chance that Capcom may release the prototype version of Mega Man Legends 3 on the eShop.

“To support our community, she is going to release her Mega Man Legends soundtrack reprisals at the end of May or early July, tentatively. During the meeting yesterday, she said that if her new soundtrack makes over 20,000 sales, Capcom Japan is likely to release the Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version on the e-shop. Although there are no guarantees, keep in mind she is a well-networked individual.”

Sounds plausible. But c’mon Capcom, you want us to spend money on an album just so we have a chance of spending more money on Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version. What do you think? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter and Facebook!
