Nintendo of America has confirmed via a press release that Ubisoft’s long-awaited Rayman Origins demo is now available to download on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. In addition, Kirby’s Block Ball is also available to purchase from the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console. There’s also a 3D trailer for the latest Men in Black movie which comes out May 25th.

Just a few hours ago, it was announced that Ex Troopers, a shooting game being developed by Capcom will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Now, we finally get to see the debut trailer for the game, which is embedded above. Also, we have the very first screenshots after the break.

It’s been revealed today that Monolith Soft, a Nintendo-owned development studio behind the fantastic Xenoblade Chronicles, is helping develop Sega, Namco and Capcom’s Nintendo 3DS exclusive Project X Zone.
Project X Zone is a 2D beat-em-up which features famous characters from the three aforementioned game studios. Fan favourites such as Ken, Ryu and Mega Man will all be making an appearance.

Square Enix has announced via a press release that North American customers who pre-order Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will receive a special edition package called “Mark of Mastery” edition, which contains a set of five augmented reality cards and more while supplies last.
One wild AR card will randomly unlock one of the three rare Dream Eaters: Ursa Circus, Sudo Neku or Meowjesty. The second AR card unlocks R&R Seal Dream Eater, and the last AR card unlocks the 360° viewing stand. This special edition will retail for $54.99 when the game goes on sale in North America on July 31st.
Furthermore, this special edition will ONLY be available in North America, since Square Enix has announced it has no plans to release it in Europe.

Some brand new characters for Project X Zone have been announced in the latest issue of Japanese gaming publication Famitsu. Chun Li from Street Fighter, Morrigan from Darkstalkers, Haken Browning and Kaguya Nanbu from Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier, Erica and Gemini from Sakura Wars, Bruno from Dynamite Deka, and Valkyrie from Valkyrie no Densetsu will be included on the roster.

A Capcom representative has told online gaming news website Nintendo World Report that it won’t have any playable Nintendo related games at this years E3 event which takes place on the first few days of next month. The company could very well announce some new titles for the Nintendo 3DS, but they apparently won’t have any playable on the show floor. If something new related to this surfaces, we’ll keep you posted.

Nintendo has finally made available WORLDWIDE the update data for Mario Kart 7. This update data corrects several glitches in the game; mainly in the Online Multiplayer mode. The update data can only be downloaded from the Nintendo 3DS eshop AFTER you perform the latest system update that was made available yesterday.
Once you’ve performed the update, go the Nintendo 3DS eshop and you should see the update right away. Here’s the information provided by Nintendo regarding the update data:
“This is an update for the Mario Kart 7 game. This download does not contain the full version of the title. In order to use this udate, you must have the full version of Mario Kart 7, which is sold separately.
Downloading this update will resolver the shortcut exploits in the following online multiplayer mode courses:
- Wuhu Loop
- Maka Wuhu
- Bowser Castle 1
Starting 5/16/12, this update will be required for online multiplayer mode. You can still play single-player or local multiplayer without installing the update.
Once the update is complete, the update will be installed automatically. The update will be visible under System Settings > Data Management > Nintendo 3DS > Add-On Content. There will be no gift icon displayed on the HOME Menu after the download is complete. When Mario Kart 7 is launched, “Ver. 1.1″ will appear above the Online Multiplayer icon if the update was successful. Deleting the update will require you to download it again to play multiplayer online.
Make sure you download the update and tell us once you have.
Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Europe have both issued a press release announcing that two brand new downloadable Pokemon titles will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS eshop this fall. These titles, previously announced for Japan on the latest Nintendo Direct Conference, are Pokemon Dream Radar and Pokedex 3D Pro.
Pokémon Dream Radar lets players use several different features of the Nintendo 3DS system, including the Nintendo 3DS camera, motion control and augmented-reality technology, to catch Pokémon by moving the Nintendo 3DS to discover hidden Pokémon. Pokédex 3D Pro is a fully enhanced and upgraded version of the original Pokédex 3D application. It includes detailed information about the more than 600 Pokémon featured in the history of the Pokémon video game series.
