
The Nintendo 3DS is a revolution among the video games industry; it is the first handheld to feature glasses free 3D. Yes, 3D without the need for glasses. The effect has stunned sceptics into believers. It was announced via PDF in late March 2010, and was finally made available to the public late March 2011.

3.5” Glasses-less 3D Screen : This is the top screen of the 3DS, it’s the screen which supply’s the 3D effects.The 3DS 3D effects have been described as “impressive” . The screen features a resolution of 800 x 240 pixel . To the right of the screen, there is a slider which allows you to set how intense you want the 3D.

Circle Pad: One of the significant features of the 3DS is the inclusion of an analog stick positioned at the top of the D-pad, which means the D-pad has been moved down. The Circle Pad has been described as “More comfortable” than the one found on the PSP, which is a positive sign.

3” Inch Touch screen:
The 3DS has a touchscreen the same size as the original Nintendo DS. It has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
3D Camera VGA 0.3 megapixels:
The 3DS has a 3D camera which lets you take photos and view them in 3D. You can also use the 3D camera to play AR Games.
Front facing camera:
This camera does not take photos in 3D, but it could be used for taking pictures of yourself..etc.
Motion Sensor and Gyro Sensor:
The Nintendo 3DS also features a motion sensor and a gyro-sensor. These two tools can be used to create immersion, which is a key to creating awesome games.
